The 2012 Corpsmen United, USN reunion will be held in Rapid City, SD during the period September 10 – 13, 2012.  Our host hotel will be the Best Western Ramkota Hotel and Conference Center.  (605) 343-8550.  When you call, make sure you tell the operator that you are with Corpsmen United, USN to receive the reunion rate.  The room rate will be $80.00 and the required tax will be added to this amount.  This rate will be honored three days before and three days after the core dates of the reunion.  Rapid City is a very popular tourist location due to Mt. Rushmore and there are a limited number of hotel rooms reserved.  MAKE YOUR RESERVATION EARLY TO ENSURE A PLACE FOR THE FUN.

Monday, September 10, 2012.  Arrive, free day.  Officers will meet when all are available.

Tuesday, September 11, 2012.    Morning and afternoon is free time.  Around 5:30 pm we will depart for the Mt. Rushmore lighting ceremony and have supper at the Carver Café.  We will return to the hotel following the ceremony.  The price of $50.00 per person will include the bus, admission, meal and sales tax.

Wednesday, September 12, 2012,  Members meeting at 9 am with  early afternoon free.  Evening show and meal at the Flying T. Cowboy Supper and Show.   We will depart around 5:30 for the show and supper.  This will be a cowboy supper of BBQ beef, potatoes, beans, vegetables, biscuits and Dessert.  We will return to the hotel following the show.  The price of $48.00 per person will include the bus, admission, meal and sales tax.

Thursday, September 13, 2012.  Depart and look forward to the 2013 meeting in Columbus, GA

The weather in early September should be pleasant days and cool nights so a light jacket will be needed.  It usually rains during this time so an umbrella should be included in your packing plans.  Rapid City is served by the following airlines.  Allegiant (from Las Vegas and Phoenix), American (from Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth), Delta (from Salt Lake City and Minneapolis/St Paul) and United (from Denver and Chicago).  The hotel offers complimentary airport shuttle.
