To my fellow Docs,

  We were very fortunate that Hurricane Ike missed Corpus Christi in September and for those of us who did make the journey for this reunion, we had a great time visiting Kings Ranch, a local sea aquarium, naval hospital clinic, the USS Lexington where we held our Corpsmen memorial service, etc.  Many thanks to Gene Paschow and his wife Stella along with Paul and Suzie Denis for the many hours spent in planning this reunion to ensure that everything went smoothly.  To Gene and Stella I once again thank you on behalf of everyone for your warm hospitality in making us feel welcome.  I enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones and to those who didn't attend this year, we hope to see you in San Diego in 2009, which is currently being scheduled, with more information to be published in a future newsletter.
